Yeah I totally agree. I mean why not give up a year of earning a million plus for a chance to get hurt. Doubtful he would have improved his deft stock much by returning that it would have been a wise financial decision.

Any issues Speights has are not from leaving early. He had a very advanced post game when he left.

Sure, but he was lazy and unenthused,it looked as if that wasn't going to change unless he was getting paid so I was not sad to see him go but if he would have accepted the coaching he could have learned a lot by staying another year or two, maybe not about hoops, but about what it takes to reach your max potential.
