Syracuse at 15/1 seems like a good bet to make right about now! Don't think they are going to win it but would be a decent payout if you dropped a measly $25

Surprised that LSU is that high next year considering the number of underclassmen that left early. 4 of top 6 are SEC.

Whoa, Miami.
That game scares me, I'll say it. We're catching them on a decent year.

I love basketball a.k.a. "Billy-ball," but this thread title was about the BCS, which is about football.
I also love the fact that his team is kicking a$$ and winning in BB.

They do have Seantrel Henderson, Brandon Linder and Curtis Porter returning for their senior season in 2013 but they will need more than that to handle us. I think we are going to see improvement in leaps and bounds next year like we saw this year. Gators will win.

A&M better odds than us? Yeah, ok.

Our pitching and power hitting will be slightly down next year, so not sure those odds are accurate.

I agree with the odds makers.
They have Bama at home, early. That is a winnable game. ESPN will be so far up A&M's backsides for a College Game Day with Manziel at the helm, they'll be a media favourite by the time they play, whether the reality on the field is there or not. Not saying they will win, just that they could.
If they do, this is why the odds suddenly look quite good for them compared to us: All that really stands in their way thereafter is a game in Death Valley in late November. They play 8 (Count 'em, EIGHT!) of their first 10 games at College Station where they will be undoubtedly strong whilst racking up the style points. The two road games are at Ole Miss and Arkansas which they should win at a canter and one of them even comes after an open week. If they've beaten Bama (in Week 3?), I reckon they'll be a full-on Media Darling and No.1 in the rankings by late November because I can't see a team that will overturn them up until November 23. Remember, the media has a big impact on the NC picture and therefore the odds-makers...
LSU will be tough and that match up could feasibly be for the SEC West at that stage, but even A&M gets a bye the week before that one. Admittedly, so does LSU with the bye ...BUT the Tigers play Bama at Bryant Denny the week before that! Not straightforward.
I could genuinely see A&M winning the West next year - the schedule serves them very well and in a win-and-you're-in scenario for one game, they're dangerous as heck. At most I see them with 2 losses.
Us on the other hand? We have road games against Georgia, SC and LSU. Heck, the odds of winning all 3 are not favourable, and that's before you factor in tough in state games with FSU and Miami who would luuuuuuuurve to burst our bubble.
I look and see A&M with an easier path ... well, theoretically.

We return roughly the same number of starters (10 or so) and they have a Heisman winner its a not crazy just smart.

When are these oddsmakers going to realize that FSU and Clemson are nowhere close to "back". I can't believe both schools are in the top 8 of the odds.
