Any Casey Prather updates?

I hope he can get back by Ole Miss. We will need him, especially if want to draw Buckner and Holloway out on the perimeter.

Get it healed because reinjury could risk the rest of the season. I'm thinking 4 weeks which would put him after the first week in February. Depending on the severity, it could be a bit shorter or a bit longer. High ankle sprains take a long time to heal, 6 weeks with the worst.

He's been ruled out of the next 2 games... @UGA and @ Miss St.

Next is South Carolina at home and then Ole Miss at home on Feb 2nd.

I'm guessing the staff really wants Will back by Miss. Maybe the game before in order to get back into the flow.... by Ole Miss game.

....A source close to the program told OGGOA on Monday that Florida’s hope is to have Prather back for at least a portion of its three-game homestand from Jan. 30 to Feb. 5. Whether his injury is fully healed by that time so he can participate as a full-go in practice leading into a game during that seven-day span remains to be seen. Donovan said Monday that Prather has already been ruled out for the next two contests.

Those suckers hurt. I'd rather go with a shorter rotation and get some freshmen in for spot duty than to stick Casey back in before he's healed enough.

I would hope our goal is to have him back for Ole Miss.

But we definitely shouldn't rush it. IMO we are better than anyone in the league with or without Prather. I'd rather go without for awhile, hope we win all of our games, and then for sure have him healthy for March.
