There is dumb journalism, then there is this. Pure hackism. Hope that person does not actually get paid for such inanity.

Was this thing put together last year? It says Cal doesn't have any titles.

Oh, and it's a slideshow that requires loading a new page for every entry, which is just a lot of suck rolled into one feature.

forbes should have a better idea of what a nat'l title means - what's the valuation for it. [nearly priceless,....and it's not just 2 titles for BD but back2back titles...that's like a trillion right there.
seriously, it appears 1 title equals about 4 million in salary. so BD is probably underpaid.

Even if that author is making minimum wage, he's the most overpaid journalist in America.
There. See how easy that is?

When was this article written? It has Trent Johnson still at LSU and Capel still at Oklahoma.

You do realize this is at least a year old? It has last years LSU coach and some other coaches who have been fired or moved on.

This guys stats should also measure Sweet 16 and Final 8 appearances. Billy's had several Sweet 16 and Final 8 appearances to go along with the Final 4's and national titles.
Billys accomplishments are second only to Coach K.'s among active coaches.

It seems like the only statistic they really used for this article was $/point. By that logic, Nick Saban is one of the most overrated coaches in college football, and Dana Holgerson is a great value.

Yes..... I noticed that, though it would have been equally bad a year ago. Some one sent me this bc we were debating Billy's place in college bball hierarchy. This was part of his counter. I know it is not timely, however.

I still remember the Kentucky trolls years ago arguing that Donovan was equivalent with Gottfried and Stansbury. Then we won consecutive national titles, while they fired Tubby, hired and fired the alcoholic, and needed the age limit to get back on top. Yep, Donovan is exactly like other white SEC head coaches under 50 save that he has more NCAA rings and championship game appearances than the rest of the coaches in the league--combined.

Please. I'm hoping you'd just like to believe that and are still in the process of convincing yourself. Most on this board come accross quite confident (as they should) after Florida's success. Your many statements like this one expose the fact that you're still insecure and somewhat obsessed. Still got an axe to grind apparently. Its sad.

How dare you! Uk fans have never been wrong but also never wanted billy. Please note uk never went after hiring billy and there was never a thread on their message board talking about wanting him or that it was a done deal. They never wanted him.

Wasn't Nimrod some unpopular and stupid fellow in the old Jewish writings (of course, all Goy were both unpopular and stupid in those scriptures)? Or was he perhaps a Jew. I can't recall.
This article does appear a bit off base.
