Nice, speed at the top of the batting order. Cant wait to see it in action. The Gators have been fortunate to have a great run of shortstops, hope it continues.

yeah, omaha is no longer the homerun fest....the orientation of the field is different..and not set up on the hill anymore to take advantage of prevailing winds, etc. plus the new bat.

Yep, everyone who complained about our reliance on power now gets their wish. We no longer have to suffer the likes of Mike Zunino, Brian Johnson and Preston Tucker holding us back from true greatness. No more of those guys, no sir. We're much more built for Omaha now, what with our utter lack of proven power.
Now, we probably won't make it to Omaha because we won't be able to score enough runs, but at least we'll have the warm glow that comes from knowing that, if we HAD made it, we'd be totally be a good fit for the new ballpark in Omaha, as we know precisely what is a good fit for that ballpark after the massive sample size that is two College World Series.
