I couldn't help but troll a few times on Irishenvy.com That's their thread for sports. I put up a post that said "Well at least McCarron's girlfriend is real, and she's not bad to look at either". It had the picture of AJ and Ms Bama together on the couch. ND fans went crazy and I was banned within 4 mins of the post.

I feel bad for the Notre Dame kid because when I was in college things like that would happen to me. I would meet a lot of real women and they would give me imaginary phone numbers.

One time it was really sad because a beautiful woman actually faked her death to get out of going to the prom with me.

The only other athlete I can think of with an imaginary girlfriend was Chris Humphries.

Manti Te'o admitted he did lie once he was aware he was the victim of a hoax. But he denies being in on the hoax from the beginning. Te'o comes clean during an interview with Katie Couric.



Manti Te'o and his parents, Brian and Ottilia, spoke to Katie Couric in an interview set to air on Thursday. 'He's not a liar. He's a kid,' Brian Te'o told Couric.



Ronaiah Tuiasosopo is the alleged mastermind behind the Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax.
