Good... Grand.... Wonderful, I mean wouldn't coaches stay up on this kid if they wanted him this bad? Just a thought? So this way you can avoid this.

This is what I was thinking. Especially since his official visit is Feb 1st.

Na' Ty Rodger still has not decided if he will visit Florida or FSU next weekend. He was at South Carolina this weekend.

Looks like Hearns most likely won't qualify. Are we still recruiting Powell?

Thought Cox had decent weight for his height. McCallister has a huge upside. Personally, I'd be surprised if Williams ever contributed substantially. He basically went to sleep his senior hear in high school. Not much of a physical specimen.

CWM and Quinn brought his name up near the end of the season. CWM also mentioned him as a person who could get some playing time this week at his press conference.

I think Swanson will find out more about his grades and test scores later this week. A lot of rumors floating around that Hearns is going to have a hard time getting into college.

Do you think Hearns will have to go the JUCO route?

Only problem is Daniel failed a math class meaning he didnt get the dreaded math credit. Meaning he can't get into any SEC school. He's a sign and place guy and will have to go the JUCO route... Unless he switches to Indiana last minute. Meaning when he gets out of JUCO we still have a chance to sign him over the Ole misses.

I can smell a new obsession brewing with Ole Miss recruiting.
They'll finish with [i]maybe[i] five players who UF would like to have. Top to bottom our class is much better.

The ONE good point that all of us need to remember is:
All of us should want a strong Ole Miss!
Why?
This gives the Western Division more parity. The stronger the Mississippi schools are the harder it will be for the Bammers and the LSUs of the world to control the Western Division like they have over the last two decades.
Thank goodness that Texas AM has come on board.
That Western Division is becoming definetly more balanced.
Now Ole Miss and Mississippi State may not wind up beating Alabama and LSU on any given year... but they can definitely wind up nicking them up.
So many times, we forget how hard it is for those teams, especially in the SEC who have tough schedules to wind up winning their last three to four games of the year.
For example, Georgia, without question, had the easiest schedule in the entire SEC last season. Voila!... they are in the SECCG !!
Yes, we lost because we had six turnovers... but we had to play some tough teams befire we even GOT to play Georgia.
So, am I dissapointed that we did not get Daniel? Of course...
But I am glad that he chose Ole Miss.
I would LOVE to see Ole Miss beat up on Alabama and Auburn...even LSU.
Let Ole Miss beat up on Auburn or LSU before they play us.
Ole Miss has been the, "Little Sister Of The South" for over six decades folks...
It is about time they have something that they can crow about!
