That's good stuff. I'm getting a BCBCS bomber Saturday. I love the BCBS, can't wait to try the coffee one.

I had my '10 BCBCS a few weeks ago and have a '12 BCBCS that I'll keep awhile (not a big coffee fan). Very impressed with the BCS line!

Had my first Pliny the Elder tonight. Bottled on 1/4. Lives up to the hype. I still prefer zombie dust, but Pliny was damn good. Top 5 ipa/double ipa for sure.

It's great, especially when fresh. I think all of my favorites are dependant on what I'm in the mood for. Pliny, Heady, Zombie, Hop slam, all bring a little something different. Just as the singles like Sculpin, Stone, Jai Alai do.

The white oak jai alai is a fantastic beer. The white oak brings out some addtional tropical flavors than the regular jai alai.
Yesterday had some of my home brewed IPA secondaried with Brett B...turned out quite nice and dry. Then a guy at the home brew store broke out a can of Heady Topper. Pretty good, some sweetness but not cloying. Aroma was awesome.

Starting off the weekend with a Lil Sumpin Sumpin. Next soldier to fall will be a Ruckus Hoptimus Prime. Haven't tried the ruckus yet, but was told its a solid brew.

I love Little Sumpin Sumpin. That and Sucks are my favorite Lagunitas brews. Starting the weekend with a Figure Eight Barrel Aged Rye Knot and now a Terrapin/Schmaltz '12 Reunion. Not a bad night!

I really enjoyed the reunion. Wish I had another.

Had the Lagunitas Sucks on draft right before Christmas and it blew my mind. Can't wait until their Chicago brewery and brew pub open.
Dropped by Whole Foods on my way to the dojo tonight because Bells Hopslam was finally supposed to be delivered. Thought I was going to have to fight for a six pack, or just part of one. They got 20 cases. I ended up buying two six packs, one for the cellar, one for the weekend. Drinking my second one now. It's different than I remember and very different from the Imperial IPAs I usually drink. Much lighter in color and not as thick. It still has quite an alcohol kick nicely balanced with hops. The aroma is different than what I've been drinking lately. It'e neither pine nor citrus. Hard to describe, but it's more sessionable than a beer this strong should be. I think it's about 10% ABV, but it really sneaks up on you.

Tasted the Southern Tier Backburner? Just saw it but before I dropped 10 bucks on it, I'd like to know if it's that good.

Nope. Never had the backburner before.

Been wanting to taste Pliny for ages now. Love the Zombie Dust. Interesting that a single IPA would hold up so favorably. It's hard to drink ZD and believe that it's a single IPA.

Enjoying a Russian River Framboise for a Cure with the wife tonight. It's a great sour with raspberries and brewed for a great cause.

Worked this am after church and am about to load up the new BGE for some steaks this afternoon. Relaxing right now with a DFH 90 min. My favorite beer.
