Good video and exemplifies the good traits of Alli. Wish him well as well as Jordan and Johnson.
You can pull every one of Debose' return touchdowns and find Alli blocking his ass off in every single one of them.
Here's another one, not as obvious as the Louisville clip but Alli is on the right side of the wedge, he seals his man off early in the return as Demps and Debose head down the alley at the bottom of the field (this is what the replay guy is speaking to when he says the Buckeyes got "walled off to the inside")
And when Debose runs across the end zone (:19 second mark), guess who's there to dap him up?
I have no stock in Alli, just hate it when people sitting behind a keyboard cut down good, honest, hardworking kids who've been dedicated to the program.
Yeah but boards getting awfully thin, doubt we can make that with quality. The 14 class probably has a large group of EEs.
Quality shouldn't matter. We also say this is why we don't take the max and it always comes back to bite us. We've been playing for a decade with 5 fewer schollies because of attrition. It will happen next year too, so we should get as many bodies on campus as we can.
I think this is now 27 players gone from last year's team. Expect a very different team in 2013.
"Different" could mean better. Let's not begin pushing panic buttons now. geeesh.

He played ST & setbacks due to injuries so it's not as if his scholarship was all for nothing. Stephen had stress fractures in both legs that required rods to be implanted.
Unfortunately he was recruited by a different regime so he wasn't exactly what the Muschamp era was looking for.
I'm not knocking you post. I just wanted to give some info.
Go Gators!!
No problem. Actually, I expected my post to be met with more criticism than that.
I certainly appreciate the effort of every single Gator who's ever worn the O&B. But just like it's now OK to critique the performance of Johnny B, I think it's fair to look at Alli and Kedric and the Class of 2009 and realize there were alot of gaps in that recruiting class. For years, we've been waiting for an elite WR. That year, when we had schollys to burn, we get a kid who never played football before. Why? Because he was tall, and he was athletic.
I waited four years for Alli (and Kedric, to a lesser degree) to bloom. It never happened, and I think Stephen would be OK with that assessment. I'm sure he gave his all, but if his graduation frees up room for a Demarcus Robinson clone, I think it's a win-win for everybody.
On a positive note, both are graduating, so they did make good use of the UF scholly. We should be proud of their off the field accomplishments.
Now, who thinks Muschamp saw their early graduation and had a little talk about their football future?
Stephen had stress fractures in both legs that required rods to be implanted.
On a side note, can we please keep the aggressive doctors away from our cash cows? Rods? Stress fractures normally resolve with rest and/or cessation of the inciting trauma. Between him and Debose and Adam Allen, I have heard some weird s**t when it comes to Gator athletes. Funny how I never hear about congenital hamstring problems etc. with other schools' athletes.

I mean, it's not critical that we play with 85 players on scholarship. GatorAZ made a good point a couple of weeks ago, that it's going to take a couple more recruiting cycles to get this thing back to where it needs to be. We've got quality players on scholarship, and if it takes another year-or two-to get the numbers where they need to be, that's okay.
We're fine. We have a lot of talented, quality guys in and on their way to Gainesville.

Better suited for the flip and trip.
This program is much better off in 2013, even with the Zookgar Bowl loss.

He had multiple fractures in both legs. Know him personally. He said that post-op was no fun...
Our roster has been a mess the past several years regarding transfers etc. I know every team as them but ours has been pathetic with all departures...
This will result in signing more players. From a football standpoint this actually helps us. These 3 players were good Gators, but not good players. It sounds like Muschamp might encourage the unproductive to leave the team.

Position coaches have been "encouraging" players to seek other opportunities.

Entirely fair IMO. There are requirements for academic schollys, should have requirements for athletic ones, too. Don't progress beyond kickoff team...BOOM, lost scholly.
My academic scholly had pretty lofty requirements that got HIGHER every year or you got booted out. Oops, not booted out, I meant "encouraged to seek other opportunities" LOL
