Coach Meyer was right.
It's mind-boggling how UF is unable to keep their coaches, while Alabama somehow does. I realize they have a new OC this year, but look at how stable their personnel has been at other positions (specifically Smart, Cochran, etc).
It's ridiculous how high the turnover rate is at UF. I don't have any statistics, but we must be in the upper echelon in this category.

I don't think Alabama's any better than most of college football, but we've had a pretty rough streak. By my quick count we've had 7 OCs or DCs in the last 5 years.

It's mind-boggling to me too. That said, at least we didn;t bring in a new DC who is two years out of HS like FSU did.
This coaching carousel is EXACTLY what I have been saying for the last three years caused the majority of our problems and struggles in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
We need some guys with staying power IMO. This just hurts recruiting down the road too because opposing staffs will use it against us. Look at Anzalone at ND. He left because of Kelly's shenanigans and now his DC at UF is gone.
On top of all that, I'm not excalty sure how good I feel about DJ Durkin being promoted to DC.

I think Durkin is a great choice we should be fine, Alabama nor any other school is going to be immune to this kind of change hell last year they lost their OC this year two position coaches have left there for FSU.

People need to get over Meyer and also stop talking about the gumps like they are gods of football.
This state of flux is a test for Muschamp, we just have to watch how handles it. Maybe Foley does need to pay assistants more.
