Freeze vid at 26 seconds. That appears to be the picture. Te'o didn't get trucked at all on that play, but he clearly missed an attempted flying arm tackle. Something that ND was doing all night.
The video looks worse than the picture.

Looks like the pic captured Te'o doing his famous possum routine!...where early on in the game, he pretends to play dead to give Alabama the false hope of thinking they are on top of the Irish!...THEN Te'o suddenly wakes up and SINGLE-HANDEDLY shuts down the entire Alabama offense! Totally baiting the Crimson Tide in that pic!...
It's just that ND gets overhyped whenever they are in the hunt for a MNC.. Since they hadn't been there for awile, the press was drooling all over them before their predictable collapse. The father needs to lighten up.. the kid is now a star, so it comes with the territory.

Wait, what?? Game's already over?? What??...
More like....... he was playing dead. And it worked.
Vandy could've given the Tide a better game. Sad. UF or UGA would've played them to an FG either way. TAandM would've beaten them - again (and 9 times out of 10). The Aggies are the best team in the country. This we have learned.

Upon receiving the news of the two deaths, Te'o went out and led the Fighting Irish to a 20-3 upset of Michigan State, racking up 12 tackles. It was heartbreaking and inspirational. Te'o would appear on ESPN's College GameDay to talk about the letters Kekua had written him during her illness. He would send a heartfelt letter to the parents of a sick child, discussing his experience with disease and grief. The South Bend Tribune wrote an article describing the young couple's fairytale meeting—she, a Stanford student; he, a Notre Dame star—after a football game outside Palo Alto.
Did you enjoy the uplifiting story, the tale of a man who responded to adversity by becoming one of the top players of the game? If so, stop reading.
Manti Te'O is a moron if this is true... And I don't care if people like my choice of words if that story is true... Using someone as a means for his own personal gains, what a douche!!!!!
