Is Ole Miss playing down to Vandy or is Vandy just playing really well at home?

nearly a half courter hit by ole miss to tie it at the buzzer after vandy hit a deep 3 from the corner.

ole miss had to rally from down 13 in the 2nd half to send it to OT

Well not a good thing for Ole Miss to get down that far but being able to pull out a win from that will definitely help their confidence going forward. At least UF's game against Ole Miss is in Gainesville and not at the Tad Pad.

Vandy was 12-20 from 3pt in the first half. That carried them for quite awhile until the threes stopped falling.

yeah, we need to pencil/highlight that game. i think it's on a saturday early in february - not too far away....february 2nd(?). if memory serves, that's another weekend where the men and gator women BB teams play at home, men on saturday, women on sunday. may have to make it up to g'ville for that 'doubleheader' too.

Yep, you're correct, the Ole Miss game is on Feb 2nd. Fortunately that's not one of those Thurs-Sat schedules. The game before Ole Miss is on Wed in Gainesville against USC so UF should be rested and ready to go. The women's basketball team plays Alabama on Feb 3rd, Sunday in Gainesville after two road games so they'll be happy to have a home game since they'll be back on the road for the next two games (tough home and away stretch for the Gators).

Unbelievable sequence at the end of regulation. That Henderson kid is a super freak.
I'm starting to think it's a good thing UF catches them at the O'dome. They are starting to believe.

Ole Miss doesn't play very good defense. Vandy had a few games where they scored in the low 30's. If I was Kennedy, I would be very concerned about their ability to defend the threes. In my opinion, Billy will be able to exploit their weaknesses.

Nitro, I don't think so. He hesitated initially as I think he wasn't sure if he had one left and didn't want to get a tech. By the time his staff let him know that it was ok, it was too late.
