I read the same thing. Sucks big time if true. The poster said he didn't get the necessary grades to enroll at UF so Muschamp canceled his OV.

I have never seen film of Jones so I cant tell you how good a prospect he is. The recruiting services think highly of him. I am not getting my hopes up for Jones but the staff will try. If CWM wont let Daniel visit then he has no shot of qualifying at UF.

If we are closing the door on Daniel, how are we with other DE prospects like Chris Jones, Jason Hatcher, Tashawn Bower, etc.? We could definitely use one more in this class.

Not closing the door on Daniel. According to Spivey, UF is still looking into the grade issue and he is still set to visit. Lets just hang tight for now. It may well be that his grades aren't good enough but not confirmed yet

Good to hear, Daniel could be a beast here if he gets his grades in order. Still would like to get another one of those guys regardless though.

Are you referencing Rivals? They list him with "High" interest in 6 teams, I just can't see that this close to NSD. His addition would make this class otherworldy.

That's never the coach's call. It's up to our admissions department. I remember times in the past when UF coaches were very irate about the decisions our admissions people made, mostly the timing. Seems like somebody in the system would know by now what Daniel's status was. It might be private information, but if he was already being denied the opportunity to visit, there would be some "excuse" being passed along from his direction. Kids are understandably very sensitive about that type of thing.

Jalen Ramesy is on his football team he is also friends with Jalen Hurd. I have a hard time seeing him steal someones thunder though.
