Yup SOS is the only one that really comes to mind for me as well. Certainly, the only Heisman winner I can think of. But who knows, Tim is still very young and hopefully still has some on the field moments left in him. If not I am sure he will land on his feet somewhere.

I'm sure that coach Muschamp will take all of these awesome opinions to heart and get back to you.

I don't know if Tim has any interest in coaching as a career. But if he does he'd be better off IMHO starting out somewhere other than UF. He should go to a school where everyone isn't already in love with him if he wants to start proving himself as a coach.

By the time Tim is done playing, we may be too old to care what he does next.

THis is an interesting idea. He'd also be in charge of the players over the summer when they are much more likely to stray off course,I would think he'd be great in that regard. The one downfall would be I dont think strength coaches can go off campus or make phone calls for recruiting.
That said, I think it's a long time before he's done playing.

He is only 25 years old. At least one team will pay him the league min. and grad asst don't make $300k.
All that being said, I would like to think Tim has a future in coaching at UF in his mid 30's. I know he always be involved in his charity work, but you $$$. So coaching could give him a chance to make some, while continuing his efforts.

Tebow is no coaching material. His future will lie in religious charity work and probably a run for governor of Florida on a GOP ticket.

Plus, he's had little to no good coaching while here and we don't know how much since he graduated. He's not had enough experience to know what/when/why to perform as a coach. Our coaches let him be himself for 4 years. He can't teach others to be Tim Tebow.

I hope he gets one more shot at the NFL. I think the people who run the Jets who acquired him under false pretenses and then passed him over when Sanchez was hurt should be utterly ashamed of themselves and if there is such a thing as Karma I hope they get paid back in full later.
Those people acquired Tebow as a publicity stunt.
They treated him as a commodity not as a human being.
I want Tebow to get at least more shot and not in Freaking Canada where 16 people are watching (10 more than follow ACC football) I want Tebow to stay in the NFL. If he can't help a team then I suppose he will do charity/missionary/religeous work and if he does that I am sure he will have a full life. I hope, if it comes to that, he joins forces with Danny W's causes. They could do much great work together.

+1 Cecil...You nailed it!
So true! The New York Giants were just coming off another Super Bowl win and all the media attention and publicity was directed at the Giants. The Jets organization was being treated as a stepchild in their market so the Jets had to make a media splash and acquire Tebow so they could use him for their own benefit to capture some of the attention.

If you'll notice, I didn't give mine. I'll leave these things to the coaching staff.

Tim would be a great asset to a team that runs the spread option, I'm not sure how he'd help the Gators as constructed today. Regardless, I like seeing him on our sidelines.

This is a fan board for fans to exchange ideas and opinions, to debate and offer their own unique perspectives.
I don't think anyone on here thinks of this as a literal suggestion box for the coaches.
