True but let's be honest instead of camping out I was out on the town or with a coed while you were in a tent. Then I sat with my friends in the front row for the games anyway without the trouble. The people who camped out I would not have fun with as they were not the type of person who I wanted to associate with.

next weekend is a big weekend for gator hoops -
men hosting missouri 2:00 pm saturday,
women hosting south carolina, 1 pm sunday.

if you come up or come down or are there for the men's game, stay overnight and catch the women in action the next day! double the fun!

Based on the description in that link it looks like I might be able to get a band, number, and just disappear at some point if they give the number when you originally get the band. If that's the case, that would be awesome.

I don't think I should be penalized for not wanting to sleep there though.

Comes off as a sort of gimmick to make people watch gymnastics and avoid partying if you ask me.

I don't want to sleep in a gym because I enjoy sleeping in my bed because for break I was sleeping on a couch every night due to financial circumstances.
If you're referring to the partying thing I'm sorry but Machen has been doing his best to destroy fun at this university since I have been here (senior currently). Why doesn't he understand that you can have fun partying but also be productive? This isn't some complicated formula - look at Greek life in general - we party harder, have higher GPAs, have better networks and damn sure have better social skills.

If I wanted to whine I'd complain about how Machen wants to remove night football games because he doesn't want kids day-drinking. Are you kidding me? It's bs I didn't get any night home games this year but if I was an incoming freshman who loved sports I'd be pissed. Hell, if I was a recruit that would play a factor because straight up the Swamp at night is way better than a freaking noon or afternoon game.

I always felt a tiny but worse for those camping out in the cold or rain. So glad I never had to.
