oh yes. but this is for those that don't have the access. sometimes, say, at work, i can't get the radio feed or what not but can tune in here to follow the commentary. and there's usually someone that asks about the score. doing some playbyplay helps to re-live the game too. key turning points, etc.
it's a practice that we were doing in the gator insider boards and on the baseball boards, etc. posters can chime in too during the play to provide some thoughts/commentary/reaction/happiness/dred/etc.
trying to do for the gals what we do for the guys: a game thread, etc.
there are some epic ones too....like the one for the women's tennis a few years back when they won the nat'l title in an heroic comeback.
