Question

Does anyone know what's up with Will Yeguete? He began the season as one of the top producers and most consistent Gator players. Now he seems to have lost confidence or has some type of condition that is holding him back. He had one horrendous game against Kansas State and hasn't been playing consistently since. His poor game against the Georgia Bulldogs (-2 Value Score in 14 minutes) is a head scratcher considering how easily the Gators dominated them as a team. IMO, we need big Will to play with strength and confidence if the Gators are to do well with the top tier teams (including the likes of Kentucky and Missouri).

PS: I just read in a later post that Will has a knee injury. I hope it is not something that will hold him back for the season after losing him most of last year. If the Gators had Will at full strength last year, it could have put them over the top in the tournament (or at least would have given Kentucky a fight for the NCAA Championship).

Pretty good list. It's impressive that we can crush a conference rival with 2 of our top players hurt and another off his game. That's what playing great defense will do.

Yes, I was also wondering what had happened to him, and the Knee injury pretty much explains it.

Hopefully he and Murphy heal. Right now, 2 of the Gators 3 front court players are hurt, but fortunately, Prather can play the 4 very well, and he creates some severe mismatches at the 4.
