The Gators crushed the Georgia Bulldogs 77-44 in their 2013 SEC opener. Patric Young led a balanced attack with 11 points and 4 blocks for a Value Score of 70. Casey Prather continues to produce, earning more playing time as he rang up 10 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals for a Value Score of 64. Mike Rosario had one of his better games scoring a team leading 19 points to give him a Value Score of 57 followed closely by Scottie Wilbekin who scored 8 points and team leading 6 assists for a Value Score of 56. A special shout out goes to walk-on Jacob Kurtz who scored 5 points in 3 minutes of play to give him a season high Value Score of 12.
Georgia only managed 15 points in the first half and were outscored by 20 points in the second half as the Gators ran roughshod over the hapless Bulldogs.
