Heres the problem. All his doubters both analyst and NFL seem to write his success off as all on the bronco's defense.

I agree it probably is good news, but this guy needs a refresher course in public relations. He could have just let it work itself out. What a stupid way to handle it. He created a headline which was scrolled all night on every bottom line across every sports channel. Just in time for every potential new season ticket buyer to see. An idiot.

I think there's a good chance that if TT were starting for Jags that the first game would be a sell-out, but then again I'm an O-B biased guy. Tim is famous enough, go to your foundation and ministry full-time; the PC non-sports folks and media are in CONTROL! I bet he would do well in the CFL.

No one wants Tim huh. How about ticket and NFL gear buying fans.
Just heard the numbers from the first round of playoff games. Tim got twice the viewership when he BEAT Pittsburg in that playoff game last season over the games we just saw this season.
That's a lot of tv's turned on or off.
Tim is a winner in the NFL as the stats don't lie. The sales of his stuff were at the top. So who loses when a team decides to forgo a winner, who also brings in a fan base bigger than they have ever had.
I hated the Jags from day one as I could no longer watch the Fins and was forced to watch the Jagoffs in the Orlando area. So much so, we would drive to Lake County so we could tailgate on land I own, and pick up the Tampa signal.
Never been a fan, yet was ready to be all in when Tim arrived. Knowing Tim actualy won meant Jax had a chance.
Now we have to listen to the same set of fans telling us, not adding more fans is the best route.
You got your wish for more of the same... Jax has 6 total wins in two years. Tim has more wins in half a season for those who can count.
You win.

Jags GM: "I can't see a scenario where Tim Tebow is a Jaguar, even if released."
Me: "I can't see a scenario where I purchase Jags tickets if Tim Tebow is not on the team, even if they win more than 2 games."
Hopefully its GM speak. Disappointing.

So for the Jags 'fans' that will have no part of the team w/o Tim, will you also stay away if the GM turns the team around, puts a talented team on the field, and gets the back to the playoffs in two years?! Winning cures all. The team, and the city's support for THEIR team is more important than any one player, even our most beloved TT.

I can't imagine a scenario that I will renew my Jagwads season tickets.
The most bothersome thing he said was not about Tebow......it was that he was comfortable with Gabbert and Henne.

The jags have 6 wins in two seasons. Tim had 8 wins last season alone.
Math is hard.

Why is this still a topic of discussion? The new GM of the Jags said he didn't want Tim.
Time for the next team...

If you look at next season, your season ticket has some of the best teams coming into town.
KC
Bills
Titan's
Cardinals
Chargers
Texan's
Titan's
and the 49'ers.
Yep, they will fill those seats up by with those teams coming. They got the worst team scheldule, and it may help them win. But if a tree falls in Jax stadium, will it hit a fan.

He didn't exactly say that. You chopped the sentence in half.

the GM's next move will likely be to dump gabbert, probably keep henne as a backup type and find a #1 QB. If he keeps gabbert as the starter, he might be making his first big mistake. Jacksonville fans / khan will probably give the GM 1 year to rebuild the roster, but no long honeymoon after that.

I think that is Tim's route going forward. There he will be a full-time starting QB and get lots of work in, then come back to the NFL in two years or so...

^THIS.
So the Jags guy thinks they are too good for Tebow? That's fine, lol. That team is such a mess I'm glad they don't want him. I said during the season I didn't think Jax was a good idea. Pitts is my choice but I said there is no telling where Tebow will go. 1/3 of the NFL is changing GMs, Head Coaches, & Off. Coordinators. Let it play out, as long as Tim escapes from NYJ.
The thing I find strange is that 3 teams with read option offenses are/were in the playoffs this year but no one wants Tebow?
Vick was brought back after prison, look at his career completion %. ATL> 44, 55, 50, 56, 55, 52, Philly> 46, 62, 59, 58. His best 3 % years are the last. But the critics write off Tebow after winning with 50% in 16 starts. Some of the haters need to look at how many backups around the league have been mostly backups for 10 years or more. Tebow will be on a team somewhere and his time will come.

Honestly, the NFL was on life support for my interest as it was. I admire Tebow's faith, but I'm no big supporter because of it. Rather, I like him as a football player & thought he could change at least one team in the NFL so that things weren't so boring in the league.
The NFL thinking is contrary to the saying "it's not about the x's & o's, it's about the Jimmy's & the Joe's". Tebow was able to produce at Denver, so the type of offense that utilizes him best is viable & the NFL was wrong - football players matter.
I envisioned a team picking up Tebow & creating an offense that works for him and other college players that would fit such a system. Since most other NFL teams don't draft these types of players until later rounds, this hypothetical "Tebow team" would be able to get the best players to run this offense every draft. Other teams would prepare for this offense only 1-3 times per year, so there would be an advantage therere as well.

Followed by the Chargers and Vikings. Ajax is way down the list...yet folks still rehash the silliness.

That smirk the new coach had on his face and treating the situation and question like it was supposed to be funny won't bode well for him in Jax.

What about the possibility now of the Chiefs? Andy Reid is a mobile quarterback friendly coach, and offensive minded. KC seems to have QB issues. Reid seemed to make Vick a better QB. If I were Tebs agent, I think I would be putting the hard sell on Reid.
Im not really a pro fan so maybe there are factors I wouldn't know about and I would love Tim to be on a Florida team so I could watch in person now and then, but that move for him seems to make sense to me.

He would have to prove he is better than Brady Quinn. Wait a minute...
