Nobody wants Tim at QB.
His best bet is to convert to fullback/H-Back/short-yardage back.
I'm sure teams will be lining up to sign him then.

As a Jacksonville resident, but an Eagles fan (grew up in Philly), the Jags had an opportunity to both invigorate their fan base, and make a fan out of people like me.

Also, this is further proof that everything ESPN and their nitwit reporters "report" usually ends up being false. Mortensen likes to act like he knows what he is talking about, but that's as much as you're going to get.

They clearly don't need a team. But the city is going all out to get one and have approved a $2-billion stadium downtown. Then, the group working to bring a team to town, AEG, promptly put itself up for sale. So, as suitors line up (and they are), it'll delay the process a bit.
Meanwhile, keeping an eye on Guggenheim, the new zillionaire owner of the Dodgers. Some think he may make a bid for a team.

No doubt there are people in the city that think its a good idea, but wait til you get out there. If that team isnt an instant contender no one will bother to pay attention. LA is full of transplants and people with better things to do than spend 3 hours in a stadium watching a loser. The people who would be attending the games and buying the merch just arent that interested. At least from my viewpoint.

Unfortunately it is a real threat...the second largest maarket in the US, a ton of money being offered to the team that moves and a brand new state of the art stadium.

Well...while it would of been nice to see Timmy back home, I don't think it would of turned our all that well in the long run and this new GM had to make a decision and he didn't want his job and livelihood to rest on the success or failure of Timmy being here. Short term he's not too popular in Jax, but once they start winning with someone else they will forget about it.
On that note...while tickets are always an issue, they did out sell 12 other teams this year - even being the 2nd smallest market and going 2-14. Plus %-wise they filled their stadium better than 14 other teams. Not quite the bleak picture everyone wants to paint. I for one think they do a better than expected job at ticket sales when you mix a large stadium with a small market and a bad team.
I think Timmy will ultimately have to switch positions if he wants to play/start in this league. Otherwise he's just too polarizing for any team to want to take that chance.

Most likely is the chargers. They haven't had a game on tv in several years, and they are just up the road. At least that's what I keep hearing from nfl in the know people.

And yet nobody has made the plunge, been hearing this since the 90s. Yeah somebody will eventually do it but it's just a threat for most owners.
