THIS! But only if it somehow helps OSU on the field.

Excellent point. I think his rehab is paying dividends. He's definitely maturing.

Well, in all honesty, Big Ben is more equal than Rainey.

I hate it for Rainey. He is getting what he deserves, but here is a kid who was born in prison, reportedly has no father in his life and his mother has purportedly had addiciton problems for most, if not all his life.
He may not get another chance at the NFL, so I hope he gets things turned around.

In all seriousness we all hope that for the guy, but he doesn't have his issues under control yet.

True, if it would have been Paloumalo, then it would have been off to anger management classes, paid off the civil suit, and apologize, and all is forgiven.

Not trying to be funny, but with those circumstances I think he did pretty well.
Didn't the Pouncey family also adopt him? Anyway, I feel the same way as you do, I hope he gets to turn it around asap, or he's just going to end up on the streets.

Thanks I know.
Many do not see the connection between lack of discipline on the field as it can relate to lack of discipline off the field.
Our coaching staff has an opportunity to mentor our student athletes in matters of honor, integrity, and character development. Doesn't guarantee they will all be honor student/choir boys.
But it's a start.

We both know that there's no guarantee a student athlete will not get into trouble.
All schools live in the same glass house in this respect.
Which makes me wonder when one school ridicules another school for their student athlete's getting into trouble. This stuff happens to ALL programs.
I still maintain the coaching staff has the best opportunity to provide a positive influence on their lives while they are in the program. Other than the parents of course. Peer influence also is a major influence.
All in or not - I like all in.

Absolutely - very embarrassing and a huge smear on the Gator program.
