Still think Saben gets 1 or 2 more over the next 5 years if he sticks around.

Disagree for one, a top SEC team that finishes in the top 4 BCS standings could get a second crack at his team in the same season! Like FLorida vs Alabama for instance. Let's get one thing straight, Alabama was very close to not making the BCS title game/winning the SEC title this year:
- Georgia was very close to winning the SEC title game as the Bulldogs had the lead late in that game; missed a field goal earlier?, and things could be different on that final drive if Murray spiked the ball first.
- LSU had the lead late in their game against Alabama. If the Tigers hung on, it could have been LSU vs Georgia in the SEC title game & a different participant other than AL in the BCS title game.
- What if Florida/LSU lost to Texas A&M in the first sec game. A 7-1 A&M would have the head-to head tie-breaker edge over Alabama. It could have been Texas A&M vs Georgia.
- In another scenario, what if South Carolina defeated LSU & won/lost to UF; the SEC East winner could have been either USCe or UF.
In this season, there were six possible winners that could have come out of the SEC if things played out better for any one of the above teams! There is no guarantee that one team (i.e, Alabama) will always win the SEC/BCS title game.

The truth is the Big-12 is a mess. It used to be the Big-12 was a decent counter balance against the SEC. The Big-12 gave the SEC decent competition when they played for NC's but the Big-12 is no longer much of a challenge. With the Big-12 out of the way there is no other conference that can send a contender big and bad enough to take on whomever survives the SEC.
That is why Bama will roll to 2 or 3 more titles in the next 5 years. UF, UGA and USCe might steal one or 2.
I'm not buying the TXAM love but they are in a better position than anyone from the Big-12 or Big-10. The Pac-12 might be able to to supply a decent team but it looks like Lane Kiffin isn't the right guy at USCw so that really only leaves Oregon and maybe a resurgent UCLA. Oregon is a power but I can't seriously predict they will get more than 1 in the next five years.
Then, of course, we have the ACC.
Miami is about to get Nuked by the NCAA. FSU is a few players away from greatness. Clemson is a paper tiger. That is about it. VT is good but not great.
So, basically, I see the SEC taking turns winning it and rubbing it in everyone else's face with virtually no end in sight. You have the money, the big stadiums, the lunatic fans, that attracts recruits, hell, most SEC are willing to give up anything, and I do mean anything, so hang on to your wives and GF's, to win FB games.

Lol! Winning any one or two BCS title(s) is not stealing anything!
Next season, Texas A&M/Johnny Manziel plays Alabama in Texas and this could be a loss for the Crimson Tide; this is the second game of the season for both teams. Another team that could derail Alabama would be LSU. If the Tide get through all of this unscathed then it will be up to the SEC-E winner (Georgia, USCe, or UF) who I think has a very good chance.
Other darkhorse candidates to be in the BCS title game: Ohio St, Louisville, & the ACC winner.

One factor could be if Texas finally decides to part ways with Mack. If they get a competent coach they should contend almost every year.

Agree with twodaparty. Playoffs and the difficulty of an SEC schedule will not be his undoing, but they will level the playing field (no pun intended). SEC programs, UF in particular, are starting to figure out what he's doing, just like they did with Spurrier. Granted, it takes more than just figuring it out, but also recruiting the type of athletes it takes to beat them at their own game. UF's system isn't really that different from Bama's. We just aren't as far along in terms of putting the ideal personnel in place. We're recruiting bigger RBs and seem to be trying to get the kind of DL personnel who can flex back and forth between 4-3 and 3-4. Whatever recruiting advantage they have over UF and LSU is narrowing. UGA, USCe, TA&M are all recruiting well enough to beat Bama on a day when a few breaks fall their way.
I will give this to them. They have the perfect system and do a better job of any other program putting the right athletes in at the right positions. They might not win any more championships, but they will make it difficult for any SEC team to win it all.

Here's how I think it should work. Instead of holding the SECCG at the end of the season, include the two participants in the NC playoffs. Pair each SEC team with a non-SEC team. As someone said earlier about a different scenario, do it until somebody unseats the SEC from the championship.
