Because they've figured out that talking about him on every single show puts eyes on TVs. And when you're a network, eyes on TVs=money.

Wrong. Tim tebow is loathed by ESPN because he is a white, outspoken Christian who is conservative (pro life, pro God). ESPN is an has been one of the most politically correct liberal networks on the air. They fired rush limbaugh over nothing....because Tom Jackson and Michael Irvin got upset. Rob Parker wasn't fired, he was non renewed. Big difference. ESPN are clowns

That's why ESPN is constantly attacking Jeremy Lin and Aaron Rodgers, and all those athletes who praise god after big plays.
Get real.

So what did that make ESPN when they were celebrating all things Tebow last year?

Sure thing, bud.
Believe it or not, lots of other athletes are evangelical Christians too (including some pretty high profile ones). Why didn't ESPN take Kurt Warner's throwing motion apart? Or drag Joe Gibbs through the mud? Tear down Jake Peavy? So why create controversy about Tebow and not any of them? Oh yeah, because they're doing it to get views, not punish Christians.

There are a lot of Christian athletes, tebow is the poster boy and is outspoken. Lin obviously broke the mold. Lot of silence on my Limbaugh point. Are you trying to tell me ESPN is not a liberal network?? How many social issue stories do they have to report on....
I guess some UF professors really brain washed some of you

If you really want a response to it, here you go: you made a big deal of the fact that Parker wasn't fired, he was nonrenewed. Guess what, they didn't fire Rush either, he resigned.
And yes, I am trying to tell you that there there is not some pervasive anti-conservative conspiracy in the sports media at large or ESPN in particular.

He was toast. Tom Jackson demanded him or me. Rush was "forced to resign". You don't get out much do you?

Limbaugh was accused, falsely, of a racial comment which the media took completely out of context simply for the sake of political agenda. It at least says something that {arker was held accountable for something that was truly inexcusable.

Rush was terrible nobody wanted to hear him or kornheiser or Dennis Miller while they are watching football.

Seriously. I'd rather listen to Fran Drescher than Rush. He knew nothing about sports and is a pompous windbag and a total ass.

Both of these guys had a history of saying really stupid crap. ESPN knew what it was getting with That pill popping, chickenhawk Limbaugh and The loudmouthed, race focused Parker.

It's kind of sad that these issues cannot be openly discussed without someone being fired. Parker was giving voice to a not insignificant group of people who feel that way. Unless an opinion is aired it cannot be confronted and thus changed.

Let's bring Parker back. He and David Duke can do the First Take show and really flush out all the issues with a sports twist.
