Default The Honey Badger

Anybody catch the interview Tyrann gave to Joe Shad? Comes of pretty genuine and a little nutty, I think he can be a pretty good NFL player if he gets his stuff together.

I wouldn't draft him. Major headcase. Too small to be a starting CB. *MAYBE* can come in as a nickle but he still would be way undersized and if I were an OC I'd find the mismatch by making him cover a large WR or TE.

His biggest potential asset is as a KR/PR, not an every down player.

He's just not built for the NFL.

I will be shocked if he gets drafted.

5'9 and whatever isn't going to cut it in the NFL nowadays with WR's commonly in the 6'5 225 range and who run like deers.

He had one good year, played way over his head, made once in a lifetime plays, let it go to his head, ignored his coaches, let his teammates down why would any NFL GM, scout or coach had him a bunch of money.

He's too short, dumb and immature to handle money.

If you are going to be a good NFL you can't be immature or worried about doing too many interviews or be short or whatever. You have to have god given physical skills and the maturity to work your ass off even though you have those skills.

Just my opinion.

By the way, one of the RB's in the Army all-star game according to the announcers wakes up EVERYDAY at 5:00 a.m. and runs 5 miles.

I told my oldest son that b/c my oldest son thought he worked hard when he played HS football. I disagreed. He doesn't play football anymore but he still wakes up an hour an a half before school or work. I told him here is a guy that is considered the best HS RB in the nation by some people and he gets up at 5am and runs.

That is working hard.

He may or may not be drafted but he'll land on a roster somewhere. He's too good a return man to not get a shot in the league. And a dangerous return man you could put on the field in nickel situations? Absolutely yes. And then he'll get the chance to prove himself and see if he's good enough at that level to work into more.

Tyrann wasnt even that good of a corner. He constantly got burned. He made up for it with his playmaking ability and his knack for stripping balls. Doubt that will continue in the NFL. Maybe he can be drafted as a punt returner?

It is a big difference. Especially when you consider Haden has a 35" vertical compared to Tyrann's 24" vertical and Haden is a SIGNIFICANTLY more talented and physical cover corner.

I can see the Saints giving him a shot, the defense could use a potential playmaker. I wonder if he can play safety.

I'll be surprised if anyone takes a chance on drafting him. He's too much of a gamble for how much of a liability he is. He's proven time and again that he's selfish and can't take direction, and his biggest claim to fame at LSU were his twitter rants and catchy nickname. He got beat every time it mattered and consistently had issues making tackles. He was virtually non-existent in a lot of big games except for penalties that cost his team yards. To top it off, he's short. Majorly overrated.
