The main reason was because of Pruitt who is the new DC at FSU that comes from the Alabama staff and he had been recruiting Walker for the last 2 years.

If he went to fsu because of Pruitt, he most likely would have gone to Alabama if Pruitt had stayed, and we wouldn't have ended up with him anyway.

Pruitt's main qualification for the DC job was that he would bring Walker with him.
A year from now, after another season of his incomparable play-calling, Jimbo will hire an OC, whichever candidate has the best recruit in tow.
