Bama won this game in the tunnel...
...ND looked like the little brother watching their big brother. I think they were beaten right then. That was a weird moment.
Bama guys did a little jawing...Notre Dame guys just stood there.
They shared a tunnel...and were even second fiddle down there.

I agree. That was a fascinating camera setup. Alabama came through the tunnel jacked the f up bouncing up an down, and just appearing big as Notre dame had to stand their and watch it. Reminded me of Tyson versus Spinks in Atlantic city. It was over before the first whistle

I'd venture that if Bama was jacked, and ND wasn't, that Bama had won the game prior to confronting ND in the tunnel. I mean, what did Bama have to be jacked about, playing such a prohibitive underdog, other than the fact that they already knew they were going to win another title ?

That's the thing. Saban gets em ready. The tunnel parade was an impressive show and Notre dame was intimidated. No doubt

This doesn't always work. We were in Bama's role in the 2009 SECCG. We played like fools

Urban was just really pissed they were on probation THIS year of all years--with ND being undefeated, and tOSU being undefeated---had the bucknuts not been on probation, they would have played ND and he knew he was on equal footing with them. Now had the scenario been that tOSU was going to play Bama---different view from Urban. Probably a true "gut wrencher" for him.

Why weren't they angry about having to play a mismatch like we had to ?
Oh, wait, Louisville was a mismatch for us.
