I watched the show for maybe 15 min. Don't waste your time, it's not very good. And he comes off as a complete idiot. (Not saying he is....maybe producers portray him that way) But the little bit that I watched, it was him either drinking or acting like a dumba$$. For as much as he parties, it's amazing what he's accomplished.

Agreed, critics been hammering the show since two weeks after it started. I'm not a reality tv fan anyway. Its worse than I thought it would be, I only watched two episodes.

Lochte is an embarrassment to our alma mater- his stupidity on TV has outshined his accomplishments as a swimmer.
I wouldn't dream of viewing any of his programming- as long as no one watches, it won't continue

Ryan is painful to watch for just a few minutes, I can't imagine a whole show.

He's a swimmer, not a tv actor. The show might be portraying him to look the way they edit it to be. No way I would want cameras to be on me constantly like that.
In other news, he is swimming well.
Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte won the men's 100-meter butterfly and was second in the men's 100 freestyle on the second day of the Arena Grand Prix on Friday, the final stop of the 2012-2013 Arena Grand Prix Series.
“I wish I would have been more focused in my workouts this year instead of being so sporadic,” said Lochte, an 11-time Olympic medalist. “I have been really keyed in the last four weeks. It’s been the best four weeks yet. I’m still nowhere near being ready for the world trials.”

Bad tv show, but nothing worse than a lot of 20 somethings would be doing if the cameras were around and somebody else was paying. That's a pretty absurd comment to make about an Olympic champion.

I agree to an extant, but have u watched any of it? Lol watch one episode and come back with your thoughts. And as for "twenty somethings", he's about to be 30. He acts like he's 18. But I guess he's living the dream, so who cares. May as well enjoy it, he's obviously earned the right to party. His accomplishments, along side phelps, has put USA swimming in another stratosphere. And this is coming from a person that has ZERO interest in swimming. (As a sport)

I wouldn't have said "bad TV show " if I hadn't watched it, even if only briefly. And he is 28, so that counts as a 20 something in my book, still time to party before settling down. Not necessarily you, but I suspect some are just envious of the lifestyle, or at least the lifestyle that is portrayed on TV.
Some dumb a$$ reality show doesn't negate the accomplishments of one of the greatest swimmers in the world. Some people take this TV stuff what too seriously.

He's definitely not an embarrassment, but he's got some settling down to do. He has the chance to go down as one the greats in history. You'd think he'd take it a little bit more seriously. Just imagine what he could do with full time training. Then again, Phelps smokes grass, so who cares, right? Lol
