Well, I am an acknowledged leader. Problem is not many acknowledge it yet.

Charge 50 to 100 percent more than typical trainers. You will spend the same time selling but make more per client....
Think merecedz Benz of fitness....act big.

My first thought was getting acid reflux after a workout. :-) But then that's GERD.

Gotta be VERY careful here. Absolute last thing I want to do is screw up and accidentally win myself some fitness training. That said, I do have a suggestion that may help. Go online and look at other cities yellow pages. Find (borrow) a name, or inspiration for a name, there.

How about Your Body, Your Way. Really sell the personalization of your service. Create some ownership by your client in their fitness goals.

Consultation, as opposed to training, is essentially what I do. However, I hope that the LA market is considerably different than the Orlando market. In Orlando, I've been hard-pressed to get a one-time fee that's not much more than the typical fitness trainer charges for a single exercise session.
More good suggestions, including the yellow pages suggestion. There is also a book entitled "Body By You."
On GERD, I could have them eat before I work them out, have them doing wall-supported handstands and various upside down stuff and lots of bending over, especially the chicks.

I do like the emphasis on what your body looks like. I don't really care about 'health.' Hardly ever mention it.

One of my catchphrases is: "I'll show you how to use the body you have to get the body you want!"

Late to the party but if you crave simplicity, use punctuation rather than wordplay to jazz it up.
Fit. is good. Fit! is better. Fit? is a little bit forward of you.

Exactly. Maybe a better slogan (sounds like something from a bowflex commercial) than a company name, but hey, it never hurts to stand out.

I might use that as my tag-line. The company name is not going to be catchy. It's going to be something that leaves people scratching their heads, which is what I want them to do.

FWIW, we did this when my brother was looking to name his aquarium store. We found, "The Wet Pet". Store has been open for 25 years now.

Go ahead. I'm generally wary of the resolutions concept, but you might surprise me!

It was a joke I heard. You call it resolutions because two months down the road when everyone is no longer working out, you can turn it into a bar under the same name!
