Kids
My worst nightmare is having a child and them becoming a FSU fan. So my plan is to tell my kids that football was invited at UF and we also invited its drink so what go y'all think .

Actually, with my kids I found that the truth works best. I never forced either of my kids to like the Gators, but since this is the only team we watch, they learned at an early age that the Gators are the only team worth rooting for, and the only school dad will pay for their education at!

My son just turned three in November. During the Tennessee game he did the Chomp outta no where, I think they just showed the crowd and there were some Gators in the stands doing it. It was after the TD pass to Reed. I had friends over that are huge Vol fans. I was so proud, I almost teared up...
He has done it every game since. I feel as those to this point I have been sucessful as a father!

I equate that to a child's first steps.

We live in TX and an FSU fan came over to talk with my wife - who was wearing her Gator shirt. He was very sincere and talking about how we got to TX. While they were talking my 7 year old was next to them both just staring a whole in the FSU guy. When he left my wife asked her what was wrong and she said with a straight face "I cant believe that man is a clown."....... I knew that my role as a parent was complete!

My dad used to tell me that if I went to FSU for school, he'd make me sleep outside when I came home. He was joking, of course, but the thought kind of resonated with me and I've always hated the school since. So when it came time to decide where I was going to go for my undergraduate studies, FSU was the "best" school in Florida I got into. Plus, all of my best friends went there. But when it came time for me to make it official, I simply could not get myself to sign up for schooling there. Instead, I ended up at UNF (a school I had never visited before) and thankfully, loved it. I have a few friends who attend FSU and absolutely loath Tallahassee.

My son got at me when I got home. His mom said he was wearing his Gator helmet all day and wouldn't take it off. We worked on some tackling and fighting for fumbles. He just turned 3 in November and stands 39 inches tall weighing in at 40 lbs.

Worst nightmare would be your kid becoming a crack head or something like that. Odds on for all the kids out there, UF is going to be a tough school to get into. You will see more and more FSU, USF, FAU, etc.. children of UF alumni.
