He was not better than any of the other scholarship RB's on the roster or the freshmen coming in

Juice was a beast on ST's. I believe he led the team on ST's tackles.

Matt Jones happened, Taylor, Lane and someone else will be happening.
I hope he gets the opportunity that works out best for him.

I sure hope Muschamp someday has the success Saban has had because he is his clone.

The punch was an embarrassing way to end his career at Florida...but not going to hate on him for it. It was a mistake--and one due to the fact he's a die-hard Gator through and through.
If he left to pursue greater playing time elsewhere--I can't judge or fault him for it. He has the talent to be a starter at a smaller program. He might have even seen more of the field this year had it not been for the emergence of Gillislee very early and Jones late.

Say what you will, but I'm sure his PF and ejection certainly prompted a meeting with Coach Muschamp, where they discussed the matter and probably came to an "understanding". His was one of the worst and most public during the game and Muschamp took a big local and national hit because of it, as well as all the other shenanigans that took place. That's what would happen in the workplace if you embarrassed your boss/CEO/company.

I did, and out side of that punch all I saw that could be construed as that was some show boating. But there wasn't a multitude (if any) of late hits, dirty hits, etc.

Thuggery is Miami and FIU fighting. A little showboating is not thuggery.

And another --I like everyone else would really like to hear the full story of why he is choosing to leave. I get the PT issue. I liked the kid.
Either way - once a gator always a gator -- at least he will have the memories.
Thanks for your time here

Perhaps what we saw is more aptly described as . . . muggery.

Probably not, but a starting running back for a Muschamp coached team will definitely have a shot at leading the league in rushing.

Yeah, thuggery was probably the wrong word. I can't think of a good single word to summarize incessant jawing (while getting your !@# kicked), overconfidence, and lack of discipline.

That too. And incredibly, it was the "look at me, lookie what I did" trip that was waaaay over the top, to me.
Guess you gotta make sure everybody notices your stats, though. You know, for later.

I'm OK with this transfer in light of the bad PR we received at the Sugar Bowl. I realize he has contributed this season and his departure may not have anything to do with that Sugar Bowl punch.
But we are the most penalized team in the SEC.
That has to change. That's on Coach Muschamp.
Wish Chris well and thank him for his contributions.

Not trying to take away from the thread - but this is what really burned me after watching the bowl game for a lot of our guys -- it was like a me me me me game and not a team game.

a bunch of personal fouls and all that dancing and showboating after routine defensive plays while losing by 20----hopefully this changes next year.
