I'm in chilly Mobile for my 2nd GoDaddy bowl in a row. My nephew is Ryan Aplin, the QB for Arkansas State, two time SunBelt conference player of the year with his name etched in the record book a few times over. He's such a great kid and I'm very proud of him. He has finished the last two years coming to a bowl game after losing his head coach to an SEC team, and Malzahn is not coaching the game.
I'm headed out to do a little tailgating now, but he is also a big Gator fan (grew up in Tampa and Fleming Island) so hopefully that gives you all a side to cheer for if you didn't have one before.

Sorry to brag on him, but if you knew him, you'd know what a real good kid he is beyond football. For those interested, the team took a vote on whether they wanted Malzahn back for the bowl game or not. Also for those interested, they would have definitely wanted Freeze back the year prior but the ASU AD vetoed that idea.
