Along with Jacoby Brissett, RB Chris "Juice" Johnson will transfer as well. With players declaring for NFL, graduation, and transfers there are currently 29 openings on the roster with 25 current verbal commits.
Doubt it had anything to do with the ejection. He's been a team player all along. He'll be buried on the depth chart with all the running backs we will have.
yeah i doubt it has anything to do w/ the ejection. it's a p.t. issue. was there another position he could play? wasn't he a safety early? might have room in the secondary.
some of the other players acted more stupid than johnson. i doubt muschamp asked him to leave. he has been here two years and he probably realized he wasn't going to play alot. wasn't he from the private school in ocala? have we had anyone pan out from that school?
I think it has everything to do with playing time, he was a safety, and then was moved to Rb, we are stacked at Safety and we have plenty at Rb, he just saw the writing on the wall and said it was time to move on. Good luck to him, he needs to tighten up on the emotions a little more. The Juice is no longer loose.

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

This had nothing to do with the ejection. Johnson was never going to see the field on offense or defense. Good luck to him he was a stand out on special teams this year.
What he said. Nothing to do with ejection, just a bunch of factors. We all knew there would be a few transfers folks, the team was preparing for them.
Like it or not Muschamp comes from the Saban school. They will always be looking to make their roster better every off season. Non contributors and life time special teamers and guys that just don't fit in are going to be asked to give up their scholarship behind the closed doors. That is just the way it is. FLA has a limited amount of spots for the best of the best and unfortunately cleaning house helps the team out a lot. Rather not miss the chance on a few more good/great recruits when you have some guys just eating up roster spaces.

I think he was also listed as a LB his freshman year although terribly undersized, but had a reputation for being a good hitter, which translated well to specialty teams, but not much else.
He could be a valuable addition at safety for a smaller program
Hopefully he does something to deal with all of the other thuggery...
He has already done quite a bit. I do not remember a year like this one with as little off field issues that we had. My biggest gripe this year is when a team converts on a 3rd and long and we beat on our chest for a big hit. Or the unsportsmanlike penalty's. EPECIALLY the ones we get after a big 3rd down stop or on tackles for a lost.

Chris was a hell of a safety in high school. He ought to join some of his buds at Western Kentucky and make a big name for himself. I will always be a Juice Johnson fan.
