This is a very good but not great Bama team--certainly think they're a step or two back from last year. They've been pushed to the limit (and once beaten) by the three strong conference teams they played. And they'll be facing the most SEC looking team out there, with NDs strong defense and efficient, run oriented offense. Should be very interesting.

Hate to see the conference streak end, but will be rooting for the Irish.

I'm hoping for an ugly win by the irish. 13-10 type... I have no desire to see Bama win. Three teams I will NEVER pull for. Bama, FSU & UGA. I would add Miami in there, but it doesn't look like they'll be in the hunt anytime soon. Lol

Actually, I'm not really thrilled about the Irish winning it either. My ideal scenario is Bama losing it, more than ND winning it. If you get what I'm saying. Hopefully Bama turns it over numerous times, and the Irish capitalize just enough.

My worse dream has come true. Ala vs. ND. I dislike both a bunch, but nobody as much as ND. If they were playing Iran, I'd have to pull for Iran! My Dad (rest his soul) loved Bear Bryant but I never shared those sentiments!

After watching some of Nick's press conference I think he's just done, he sounds burnt out.
I really think he will retire after this game especially because of the comments his wife made about it just not being fun anymore.

I believe Kirby Smart has known for a couple of years that Nick was almost done and that's why he hasn't gone anywhere, he's going to get the HC job next year.
