I think Clemson beats UGA next year in Week 1 if Boyd comes back...no way an entire new starting defense will be able to hang with that Clemson offense that early in the year...
And ACCecil, you are right about our game against Miami...they return almost every starter if Im not mistaken...although they werent that good this year to begin with but we will see...

Miami will be a lot tougher. We will be fortunate to come out of there with a win. i like their qb, and that little RB is unebelievable. They will be jacked up too.

Yeah I was actuallly just looking over Miami's roster and they don't lose much at all....they lose their punter, kicker, starting RB and I think one lineman and thats it...that QB Morris is a JR so he should be back...and they have a freshman stud RB (Duke Johnson) who averaged just under 7 yards a carry this year...Miami's problem this year was definitely not on offense...they just couldnt stop anybody...

Well Miami is in luck because the cure for any horrible to below average defense is the gator's 112th ranked offense

FSU will be in the top 15 next year as well. Losing EJ is addition by subtraction.

You have to be kidding me. The past two years FSU has had their best records in years. Doesn't he also have some school passing records? You don't lose 757 QBs and think you just improved. Noles might be preseason top 15, but not postseason

If trickett holds onto the starting job, you'll be missing EJ as much as we missed tebow when JB took over. CT is horrible, and stands no chance behind the turnstyles. If someone else starts, how can you say its addition by subtraction? You've never seen them play and EJ actually had a pretty good season. Over 3000 yds, a 2-1 td/int ratio and a great QBR.

Why would Murray return to UGa? He earned his degree already, and this years QB crop appears marginal compared to last year. Plus his bowl performance was very solid.

Yeah, he said last night on espn his evaluation came back very favorable. 2nd-3rd round. Said it with a big smile too. I think he's gone.

EJ Manual is a nice young man. I'm not going to dismiss his whole career as being bad. He won some big games but he also came up small at times when a better player would have risen to the top.
His legacy came down to the UF game this year, at least in my mind, fair or not, right or wrong, he had to win that game. He had 3 INT's and a crucial fumble. It is easy for guys like to me to sit on a couch and say, "you got to protect the ball," I am not being jacked by a 225 lb linebacker but it turns out it is true .... you got to protect the ball before contact. EJ is 6'5 230 so he shouldn't get special excuses. He got jacked and he dropped the ball and lost the game, not by himself, but lets not mince words he came up small in that game.
If Trickett gets the job Jimbo is far, far dumber than I think.
If Trickett gets the job FSU loses 2-3 before Nov. in my opinion. He would be the worst QB at FSU going all the way back to before Chip Ferguson in the mid-80's you'd have to go all the way back to Kelly Coker I think his name was another guy at about 180 who used to run the option and yes it was kind of painful to look at but in fairness Auburn had a 167 lb QB back when Bo was there so it wasn't all that strange.
The players are bigger and faster now. WR's are as big as DE's used to be.
Either way I expect some mistakes and growing pains at QB for FSU next year, much like UF had with Driskel this year, but I also expect to see more of a gamer and a guy that Jimbo lets run. We need that. Jimbo was clearly afraid to let EJ run and it hampered the offense all year.

Clowney can't go pro until 2014.

If not Trickett, who would be the starting QB next year? That Winston kid?

Winston or Coker.
Coker played in a running offense in high school and has been at FSU two years so he will be a RS Soph. Winston is a little bigger than EJ and will be a RS FR. Both are big 6'5 type players who can run at that is the key whoever gets it needs to be able to run the option part of Jimbo's offense.
Jimbo wouldn't let EJ run because EJ wasn't one of these guys who knows how to protect himself and I said stuff like this BEFORE the UF game when EJ got rocked. Jimbo was right, if you let EJ run, he will get hurt, the next QB at FSU, I'm hoping, won't be playing with hand cuffs on.
He has pads on. It's football not tennis. Let the dude run.

The Big 10 is a 3rd world conference. Ohio State might could beat two B10 teams at the same time.
