Good post.
The O has been pretty dismal all year with a couple of exceptions.
Any defensive coach with any brains put 8 in the box and dared the Gators to pass the entire season, and it was always the correct thing to do. Sometimes it cost them, like with Driskel's long run against Vandy, but usually it was quite successful, indicating a lack of quality offensive coaching.

I say... this is worst.
Nebraska was ranked Number One...
Florida was ranked Number two...
Sure, we got embarassed by the Cornhuskers...
But last night... we got embarassed by Louisville.
Louisville...

Our team can move on if they want...
But I say that the score of this game should be put up in bronze inside the Gator's dressing room so that every damn day... they have to look at it.

What got me about the on-side kick to start the second half was not only its stupidity, but the way Muschamp positioned himself. The TV showed him on the sideline right even with the players lined up for the kick, as if he was right there coaching them how to do it. I wondered why he was there because unless I'm mistaken that is not where a head coach usually stands for a kickoff. Wasn't he telling the other side what they were fixing to do? Was that stupid too or am I wrong?

The bright side is that Louisville is now ACC, which is bad news for FSU.

total disaster--game plan, preparation, motivation, in-game coaching, playing, strategy... Behind nebraska 96, one of the worst played UF games I've ever seen.

Well we were able to make Bridgewater the number 1 contender for the Heisman going into next year. We are a very charitable organization and should get props for our philanthropic activities.

Obviously the team wasn't motivated to play. Can't say that I blame them. This is nowhere near as embarrassing as losing to Mississippi State at homecoming just 2 short years ago. Until bowl games match up premier opponents only (playoffs or no), we can continue to expect this kind of effort. Was this game any different than Georgia's Sugar Bowl clunker to West Virginia or Bama getting steamrolled to the tune of 21-0 in the first quarter against Utah? No, not really.
This loss wasn't even as embarrassing as the loss to Georgia this year, frankly. Dogs give up 200 on the ground to friggin' Tennessee...almost lose to Kentucky, and we flat-out choke the ball away 6 times. THAT is embarrassing. Muschamp can't get a team up to play the Big Least co-champ? I guess he can join the club.

I have a good friend at work who is a big UL fan. Before the game he said he just hoped he wouldn't be embarrassed. He obviously wasn't. I, on the other hand, wore a trench coat, wig, and sunglasses to work yesterday.

The Citrus Bowl had its lowest attendence since they broke 60,000 for the first time, many years ago.
Uga broke their own record, as they had the previous low also. This is twice in a row, UGA has set a new low for the bowl.
I doubt you can blame this one on the fans as they hung over 40 on Nebraska.

I am so sick of hearing how " physically talented " Driskel is...yes, he has 2 legs and can run...so?? If you're running the spread it may matter...but not in the pro style offense we're running...I'll agree he is talented when I see him win games for us rather than the defense...name one game he won for us???

Overall I like Muschamp and I can't wait to see what he builds here after hes a few more years in, has a complete roster of guys he recruited, some stability in the staff, and some seasoning as a head coach. I feel we're definitely headed in the right direction.

I believe it was a hell of a coaching effort, one that pushed the players to play well beyond their capabilities. The only problem with that is you can only get so much intensity this way; eventually the players revert back to form like they did in the bowl game. One thing he better improve upon is the offense, and soon. The defense just can't keep bailing out the offense game after game.

consistent theme all year--if UF played a team they didn't think was that good, they would barely show up. It worked against bowling green, missouri, la lafayette and jacksonville state. It didn't work against Lville. That's a coaching issue.

I don't know that any ONE player ever wins any game, except for maybe Tebow.
But certainly Jeff's effort and ability came through for us and helped us win against A&M UT, Vandy, f$u.

Coaches plan was terrible and the onside kick at the start of the second half was terrible. That pretty much killed any chance of coming back to win. If left tackle can't block, go maximum protect and left Driskel go deep to try and keep the defense honest. Sometimes a deep incompletion will loosen up a defense for the short stuff.
