Honestly we are what we thought we've been for the last couple months

Great D, undisciplined, bad O, and terrible passing. This game wasn't too unlike most of our games in terms of doing what we are good/ bad at. What was surprising? Many people expected high teens/mid 20s out of LVs offense. It's what they got even with tremendous field position.

Point being, with our style of play, you are going to get clunkers and highly volatile play.
Our style of play is somewhat dictated by the makeup of our roster.

It's really quite simple. If you swapped Bridegawater with Driskel last night, the score would have been reversed. The only way we can win with this team is by playing the style we have played all year. Driskel cannot overcome a spotty pass blocking O Line, and he cannot put in a dynamic passing performance at this point in time. We have good receivers, but no dominant receivers.

IF, and it's a big IF, we had more success during the year with our passing game, it is very obvious to me we would me throwing the ball alot more, (with alot more success).

You sunshine pumpers think it is ok for our team to lose its composure, celebrate individual tackles, get an ejection, and have our HC act like an idiot with the refs? Is lack of discipline and sportsmanship something you abhore? Just asking....

...just sayin'.
I did say 7 games. I still stand by it too. We had enough defense to win a couple of more games. We also didn't play many offensive teams too. The offensive-oriented teams we did play either beat us or almost beat us. We would have fared much better playing ND or Alabama last night. I am happy we didn't get Kansas St or Oregon or they might have scored 50 or 60 on us.

Last night was a perfect storm - great offensive team (qb) and our team not really wanting to be there (or thought they were good enough to just walk on the field and Louisville bows before them).

The primary issue on this team has been one that has been a thorn in our sides since Mullen left - we can't throw the ball. Even Tim had a down year his senior year. The plays just became predictable or meaningless. Until we get the passing attack back, expect close games in every game we play. If that's what you want, then you'll be happy for a few years. I for one miss those games where we beat Georgia 55-7.

What does "just sayin" mean at the end of statements on message boards?

Yes I do ABHOR lack of discipline.

This loss is unacceptable by me, luckily for all of us Jeremy Foley makes the coaching decisions and not me or any of you guys.
