Whatever he is going to do, he was probably told to shut up.

I presumed Brantley would decommit from day 1 last January. Valentine's commitment won't hold up. Long term commitments breakdown far more often than not.

Actually studies show that commitments stick more often than not.

Not true at all. Someone crunched the numbers around here recently and I think over 90% of early commits stick. It's huge to get them. Just seems that way because you always remember the decommits, not the guys who stick.

+1
Early commits might be more likely to bolt than later ones, but they are still more likely to stick than to bolt.

Any chance that Brantley decommitted because he knows the only way he can commit on tv at an All-American game if he is not committed while at the game. In other words, he wants to be part of the spectacle?

Do any of you realize that maybe these kids read the boards? I don't get all the bashing, especially with a 4-5 star recruit who has the possibility of becoming a Gator in the end. Don't turn them off from re-committing. Smh

This has been discussed numerous times. No one should be "bashing" the kid, obviously, but questioning what's going on is normal and pretty much what these boards are designed for. I'm pretty certain that most are aware that some kids read these boards. Every fan base has it's negative critics.
Plus, if a recruit doesn't think that there are fans of rival teams out there that will create a false persona just to try to sway a kid to their school, they haven't seen enough of that catfish show.
People nowadays are pretty ruthless.

Jax 1010xl morning radio show reported this AM that Kelvin Taylor & Brantley got into a physical fight, and Brantley took the worst of it. Wonder if this has to do with Caleb backing out?

WOW if true, and that would make sense. They usually wait until spring practice for that. Hope they can move on from it.

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.

When would they even have the time to get heated enough at each other to have such an altercation at these events?

Maybe Kelvin told Caleb to pick it up when he was reportedly walking off the field. Maybe Kelvin said, "Come on man. We are Gators, we need to represent." And then Caleb told Kelvin to go get bent and then Kelvin whipped his ass?
