Players and coaches won't be sitting around all off season patting each other on the back because everything is fixed in Gainesville. What would have been a 12-1 season with one loss in a 6 turnover game means they can beat anyone. Well, the reality came crashing in the front door last night and the reality is, the harder working, hungrier team won last night and it wasn't us by far. I'm not going to bitch and moan about this player or that player or coaching, we just had a bad game and they lost as a team.
I'm not happy for the loss but I can guarantee you it will help this team, unfortunately they learned the hard way with a very tough beating last night. Trust me, this team will not be comfortable in the off-season thinking they are on cruise control. Nope, they know they have to work their asses off to keep up with all the teams.
The loss sucks out loud but fact is: We are ahead of schedule, have a huge recruiting class coming in and Will Muschamp continues to bust his hump to make this team succeed.

Absolutely agree.
I myself am not going to let a 3 1/2 hour bad performance ruin an ENTIRE SEASON of positive accomplishments this year. We had a great regular season this year and we shouldn't forget that.
Listen, the loss stings and it's disappointing, no one is arguing that, but we were playing for nothing more than a high ranking in this bowl, not a title of any kind, and if we were actually playing for a title, this bowl performance would have been a 180 in the opposite direction IMO.
Yes, I hold the coaches responsible for the poor performance, but this present staff has only been together for this one season and I trust Muschamp will get the rest of the key elements of this team to be successful with.
Good teams have bad games, and we had one, and I agree that our staff learned a valuable lesson last night that will lead to even more motivation and focus during this off-season. Whether you know this or not, coaches and players take these losses a lot harder than we, the fans do, and they want to make sure it doesnpt happen again.
So let our rivals talk the smack. It's the ones who talk the loudest that are the ones we handed their heads to this year anyway, especially the way the nolies fans up here around Tally are acting, like Florida just lost the NC to FSU or something.

Of course, a quick reminder of "37 - 26" shuts them up.
Just my opinion though... all those guys, especially on defense who were considering the NFL?
L-E-A-V-E. Nothing personal and I wish all of them the best of luck, but just go and get your NFL money because I want players who aren't thinking about their NFL Draft Stock and who have their heads in the game they're playing
right then. That said, after watching this sad performance last night, I dont think any of those guys are ready for the next level. Taking entire games off at the college level is bad enough, but just wait until they take one or two plays off at the next level and they'll be out of a job!
Secondly (and I know it's just superstition), NEVER wear those hideous combonations of unis again. Orange jerseys and orange pants with the blue tops, it's just hideous looking. Blue tops/white pants or all blues, but never wear those combos again for home team unis.
Third, and finally, I hope the staff pounds this game tape into this team's heads all off-season, a lot like Bama's coaches did with the 2008 SECCG loss to UF. USE IT, it's excellent motivation.
We were a year away at the beginning of the 2012 season, and now we're back in the thick of things going into 2013. We just needed a couple more elemnets to this team to put it all together.
Lets also remember that this was bascially Jeff Driskel's rookie year at UF, and he learned a lot. After an off-season of film study, training, and drills, he's going to be a very good QB for us in 2013.
Yeah, different Gator fans handle losses differently, but this season was just too positive to let just two negative games ruin it for me.
