Trash talking happens every game and on just about every play. The Louisville player actually pushed Johnson just before the punch, still not excusable.
The one side kick to start the second half was a horrible call.

Boom was livid with all justification. It didn't impact outcome but those refs sucked.

If we had 0 penalties, we still lose last night.

Not saying the refs are perpetually out to get us but that was another one of those penalties that you only see on the Gators and can do nothing but shake your head at. I swear sometimes it seems like the refs just try to find some rarely enforced rule to flag us for at ridiculously inopportune times... this one, roughing the snapper, the sideline warning in the 08 SECCG when we had first and goal at the one.

The Louisville players showed a lot more poise and maturity out there...our players looked like a bunch of thugs...taking swings, yanking helmets off of players, pointing fingers in the faces of refs, celebrating minor plays while down by 20. They embarrassed the university last night....and not just by losing.

NEVER, EVER NEVER, will I regret being a gator!! BTW, that wasn't what I would call a fight... Honestly, I was surprise he was ejected. Penalty? Yes. But ejected? I think the refs were calling the game onside... With that being said, we still got our butts whipped, both on the field and on the sidelines... Guess Strong had a point to proved, & he proved it!!

He probably shouldve. Its never a REFs job to initiate contact or badger a player. If he had something to say he should told Champ and called Jenkins over. Ive never been a fan of refs getting in players faces, stopping them from moving or pointing figures at them. If they have a problem throw the flag, thats why they them. Besides Bostic was walking back to the huddle regardless of what he was saying.

Where exactly do you get your facts from? You added 100 extra yards in penalties that don't exist.

Totally agree.......on every tackle, either Easley or Shariff would give the crowd a 5 second muscle pose. When you are by 20 points it makes a little sense but when you are down by 20 points, what was the point? Showboating? You are getting your arse kicked and you are running around like King Kong. I hope that gets addressed next year.

I only saw Johnsons "punch" once on screen but in the replay it did look like he was smacking at his own teammates helmet. I could be wrong but that's what it looked like one and only time I saw it.

^^^THIS^^^
It's one thing to be outplayed but some of the thuggish behaviour last night was downright embarrassing.
We are we celebrating when we are getting our asses handed to us?
Makes us look like we haven't "been there before".
That's on the coaching staff.

We didn't want to be in a BCS bowl?? after the crap bowl we were in last year?
Maybe we'd rather get humiliated to a higher degree in the Fiesta Bowl?

This x 10
Disgusting behavior.
I do hope this was addressed in the locker room after the game. To me it exemplified our play. We simply did not respect our opponent.
We played as if they were lucky to make a play and how dare they come in and try to compete with the amazing talent on display by the mighty Gators.
This arrogance was never earned.

Those defending the punch are factually incorrect.
NCAA rules require an automatic ejection when throwing a punch. They go unseen sometimes...but if a ref sees it he HAS to eject by rule.
That was clearly a punch.
