Louisville was very one dimensional on offense. We should have been blitzing from the start, yet we basically gave their qb way too much time to throw. I think the coaching was inept on both sides of the ball.

We've been undisciplined yahoos all year.

Bridgewater hit passes in the middle all night, threw great screens and hit two perfect TDs on the outside. Their passing game had an answer to almost everything we had. Great coaching on their part.

Muschamp is NO coaching genius....that's for sure.
Could you imagine this ever happening to Urban?
Think about it.

Hmmm......if that's the case then shame on the coaches. Screw the fans. If what you do wins the game, then more power to you.

I don't have to think about it, that is one thing even his haters could not take away from him. We were always prepared to play in the bowl games.

When Urban finished...how long until he had us in this position (#3 overall) again?

The coaching was not terrible but not anything close to good. This is how we have played all year when heavy favorites. Bridgewater was VERY good and, as much as I hate to say it, is better than Driskel. We got behind the eight ball early and could never get anything going, the defense could not make a stop when it counted...third and 8,10, 15 it didn't matter. Teddy can make all the throws and finds the right guy on just about every play.
There are three things I am very thankful for:
1. The great season the Gators had.
2. That Dave Hart and UT were so inept in the hiring process of the head coach that Strong decided to stay at Louisville.
3. That LSU wanted Mettenberger more than Bridgewater.

Louisville clearly wanted the game more than we did and played like it. They took the game seriously, just read some of Bridgewater's remarks about how much tape he watched for one example. How much of that is on the coaches and how much on the players is hard for a fan to say but I put most of it on the players. I'm sure WM wasn't telling them to relax, that this game would be a pushover.
The only mistake I saw that could clearly be attributed to the coaches was the onside kick. I thought that was a foolish thing to do. We weren't so far behind and it wasn't so late in the game that we absolutely had to get the ball for the offense. So I thought that was an unnecessary risk to take.
Other than that, who knows? We weren't in the practices, we weren't in the weight room and locker room, we didn't sit in on meetings, we weren't in the players heads. I thought some of the defenders might have been thinking more about the NFL than they were about this game but I can't read their minds.

Everything hurt us last night... save Elam, Floyd and Easley (Maybe a few other d-linemen).

This was Louisville's NC game and they played like it. It was just another game for us. We seemed to be on break still. You exchange this game and put it in a November slot where there was meaning, and I believe there is a different outcome. I would argue that this was our least important game of the year, and that is just the way the current college football system is set up.

Bowl games like this one remind me of when we were up against Notre Dame at halftime and then Jerome Bettis just overpowered us in the second half.
Down 24-10 at the half, I would have kicked off, played tight man to men defense against their receivers and pound the rock continuously with Gillislee, Jones, Driskell and an occasional jet sweep or Burton running the wildcat.
I still think if we could have gotten the lead down to a touchdown after 3 quarters, we would win

We didn't deserve it. Sometimes you just need a wake up call. Well we got it. Now it's on to smell the coffee. On to next year. May we build off a good season.

Well said, my sentiments exactly!! Boom gotta address the discipline problem that's been plaguing our team all year. Last night it caught up with us, and ALL of the wheels fell off the bus...
