Bama is 48-5 since Utah loss.
Eat dirt tonight but stay the course.

I thought of the same thing. It appears Muschamp is hell bent on doing everything the same way Saban did. Bad first year. Surprisingly good second year that ended with an embarrassing loss in the Sugar Bowl. If the pattern holds true we should be hoisting the crystal trophy next year. We can only hope.
If nothing else, this bitter pill should serve to motivate our guys this off season. Can't be too full of themselves after this disaster.

I believe the word you are looking for is precedent.
Maybe I'm wrong and maybe we won. I dunno.

Comparisons are not analogous. If the current UF coach had one national title and two SEC titles when he began here, it might be relevant.

That Utah team was undefeated and awfully good, these guys weren't, no comparison.

florida was just flat and overconfident, expecting an easy win. they'll bounce back next year when they get some new talent on offense.

Can we please quit with these stupid comparisons- Saban already had a national title at that point, Saban played in the SEC title game and didn't go 1-3 vs. his two biggest rivals, Saban had a proven track record and had coached for a decade, this is grasping at straws.

If Bridgewater doesn't break his wrist and damage his ankle, Louisville could have Ben undefeated this year too

And I just don't understand how they could be considering the ULL and Missouri games.

didn't they lose a game prior to him breaking a wrist??
This UL team was nowhere near as good as that Utah team was nor are we as good as that Bama team was. We have a long way to go and a lot of question marks, especially at QB for me.

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.

logical fallacy:
fact: alabama stunk it up in a BCS bowl game and won the national title the following year
fact florida stunk it up in a BCS bowl game
conclusion: florida will win the national title next year
