Anyone else bothered that our D celebrates a big play when we are getting pounded?
THat just bothers the crap out of me. If you are getting dominated, it looks ridiculous to celebrate after making a big play.
Get your fat butt back to the line of scrimmage and finally stop someone on third down for crying out loud.

Easley is the greatest offender of this. But numerous players did it tonight.

The loss stings, but the antics by some of our players were embarrassing.

Sadly, this is commonplace in college and the NFL. It has become part of the culture.
You can start recruiting individuals that don't participate in these displays and you'll never go to a BCS bowl game again.

It is dumb when they do that but frankly it doesn't rank too high on my list of concerns about this team at the moment.

Sad but true...you need talent to go far...but on the flipside the talented players are the ones who usually get used to, and eventually learn to love the cameras and limelight...but yes to answer the OP it looks stupid and embarrassing...my logic is simple...what are you celebrating when you are down 20 points? I know you made a good play but thats a play you SHOULD have made (and in the pros are paid to make) in the first place...

They reminded me a lot of the 2011 Gators tonight.

I literally yelled at the screen to wait until they actually forced a punt to talk smack. Didn't come until 6 minutes left in the 4th when the game was over.
But more generally, our players seemed to want to play bully ball more than defense tonight.

Agreed. Always makes me mad.
Play like you expected to make an awesome play, like its second nature, what you're supposed to do. Trot back. Celebrate the WIN.

Done it all year? This is the first time we've been dominated on defense this year. We haven't had the opportunity to do it all year. This was our first chance to be idiots and celebrate while being dominated.
