Yale
Yale 4-10 led Iowa State 10-3 by 35-27 at the half in Ames Iowa today. Yale scored 35 again in the second half, but gave up 53 to Iowa State to lose 80-70.
Iowa State by the way rated 40th by the Ken Pomeroy system going into this game today. Yale was 259th heading into this game.

Billy D's scheduling was brilliant, playing a bunch of smart guys from Air Force to prepare them for Yale.

Yale is struggling this year compared to last year.

Yale plays their home games at 'Lee Amphitheater' which holds 2532. Should be nice and cozy.

Used to work with a former Yale center when I was at Leo Burnett. He was a formidable seven foot tall account executive and the only starter on the company basketball team who wasn't from the mail room. They were fun to watch. I think we recruited our mail room staff based on their hoops skills.

Wasn't making fun of them. When I called them a football school I was referring their history. They are one of the most successful college programs in history, right up there with Army. Nothing like game day there, as you would know. Went to the Yale Cornell game four or five years ago. Sports aside, Yale is the greatest university in the world.
My dad's side of the family goes back over 200 years between New Haven and the Housatonic Valley. Bunch of them went to Yale. Recently visited my aunt and uncle who live across from the Divinity school. Mom's side of the family is from Andalusia, Alabama.
You know this one…
Bama grad- "Where'd you go to school?"
Yale grad- "Yale."
Bama grad- "I SAID, WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL?"

Princeton, Yale, and especially Harvard, were pretty good last season.
After watching our "football game" last night, I just want to see a Gator team that's ready to compete. Thank Naismith for basketball.

This should be a fun treat on Sunday. I have a graduate degree from Yale, so I have gear from both schools and will sport a little of both at the game. I haven't been to New Haven in 10 years, so I am going up early with my son and checking out campus. A friend of mine used to play at Yale and is going up too with his kids.

Go Princeton Tigers, who founded American football, along with Rutgers. Michigan stole our helmets and we had the star of the movie 10 and Superman on campus, who actually played for the football team. So much for academics. Ha ha.
Go Bulldogs... Andalusia Bulldogs that is. My family moved me to Andalusia and I left as soon as I could after I graduated from Andalusia High School. No more family there now, thankfully. Somehow, I wound up back in Alabama. Swore that would never happen, but it did.

Plenty of worries for me in this one. I'm sure it'll be packed with it only holding 2,500.
I'm sure they shoot a ton of 3's. If they hit theirs and we don't hit ours it could be interesting.

You could live a lot worse places than the Eastern Shore.
