I would be shocked if Werner did not leave...most mocks have him as a 1st rounder and either 1st or 2nd best DE

Werner impressed me a lot. I agree that his stock is about as high as it can get. There is no point in risking a career ending injury.
I don't have problems with juniors leaving in football. I think 3 (and sometimes 4, if redshirted) is more than adequate to give a program.
We gripe and moan about our juniors leaving, but the fact is that when you're recruiting at a high level, its bound to happen.
If you go through a few years of having noone leave early, its usually reflected in your won/loss record and lack of championships.

I am fine with it AS LONG AS THEY GET THEIR DEGREE....I still think education should be valued over athletics, therefore I am fine if they leave early as long as they graduate as well...hence Jordan Reed....there are not many things in life I can't fathom more than a kid who goes to college and doesn't finish...yes I know they will make more than enough money from playing where they dont have to worry about ever working again but still I hate the thought that they go into the real world uneducated...
Just a personal opinion...this is why I loathe Calipari, Roy williams, etc in basketball who pride themselves on one and dones....even Beal last year...I applaud him for his contributions but I just seeing college used as solely a springboard to the pros..

Its not like once you go pro, universities can no longer admit you. Lot's of players get them post career and during the offseason. Hell, by then they may actually care about school and get a degree they can use.

meh.
The primary purpose of going to university is to gain the skills necessary to succeed in the career of your choice. If that career is a sport, and you've gained the skills you need to be successful, then what would be the purpose of getting a degree?
A degree is just a piece of paper. It really has nothing to do with whether or not someone is going to be 'educated' in the real world or not.
There are plenty of people with degrees that don't have any skill set at all to actually make it in the real world once they are out of school.

The correlation between a college degree and financial success drops more and more every year.
I'd never tell someone not to finish, but I understand why some don't. If you don't like school, you don't belong there. Leave and let someone who wants to be there take your place.

Really glad to hear this. Watson is a player and puts a huge dent in their OL quality.
Also happy to hear about Rhodes. No doubt in my mind the noles would have had the best CB tandem in college football next year with Darby and Rhodes.
UF's would have been a close second, but the nole duo would have been outstanding.
