Why even wait to be drafted? Just sign a free agent contract, sure he could negotiate a good deal without actually being drafted round 1, cause we all know he's pick #1 in 2014, assuming no injuries.

Wow. The guard that was suppose to pull on that play completely whiffed. Clowney blew past him before the guy could even get to that side of the field. You can't get cute like that against Clowney.
I was waiting for the Ref to try and overturn it on a helmet to helmet just to see what Clowney would do on the next play, he looked so angry (rightly so for anyone who saw the previous play, SOS was angrier than 96 in Doak it was the dumbest call I've ever seen).
Exactly!!! It was almost like he said " OK! Looks like we have to do it our way!" Then to watch him crush the rb and then reach over and pick the ball up like a loaf of bread.
Yes, I think it is important to note the fumble recovery. Because usually after a huge hit, the person delivering the blow also has to mentally and physically recover some. But it's as if he was in the Matrix or something. He reached down a grabbed the ball as if he were completely unaffected by the kill shot he delivered. And he didn't bobble the recovery either. He just reached down and grabbed it and actually started to run with it, even though he was down.
You never heard of a player coming back in the off season to finish his degree? Carlos Dunlap is a recent example of a DE in the NFL who did it. But you wouldn't know about that since you are just a nole troll.

Furthermore, an arguement could be made that he could possibly prevent players from opposing college teams from getting an education because of the brain damage his ridiculous hits cause. I think it is best for him to move on from college for the good of society as a whole, from a college education standpoint.

He'll make more in one year in the NFL than he would in a lifetime at a normal degree job.
Of course, he needs to know how to save... unfortunately they don't teach that to our kids in college.
Many skills are developed through the independence and degree of structure experienced in collegiate studies. Budgeting may be one of them. Even then, many athletes do not have the self control to budget and invest properly. The college experience, esp. when ending with a degree, offers an opportunity to increase the likelihood that the individual will be financially responsible.

One must weigh this vs. career-threatening injury.
And like you stated, it merely offers the opportunity to perhaps be more fiancially responsible. I'm not sure how much it truly affects it though. There is probably a study out there???
Actually you guys will appreciate this....First Take this morning was grading this hit on a scale of 1-10...both Stephen A and Skip bayless gave it an 8 because they felt he came in unblocked and didnt have to put much effort into it...just a straight beeline hit...anyway the interesting thing is they pulled up the video of Major Wright's hit on the OU receiver in the 08 NCG and both scored that one a 10! They said it was perfect timing, nothing illegal about it, perfect form, had to run a good ways to get there in time....
