I was able to hear Dabo speak to a group of top high school athletes about 3 years ago. Before hearing Dabo speak I thought Clemson had made a huge mistake in hiring him- but Dabo changed my mind.
The guy has a great story- grew up poor in Bama, alcoholic father, etc.
Was homeless for a while in HS.
Ended up walking on at Bama, earning a scholly, was on the MNC team in 92, and becoming the 1st person from his family to ever graduate college. If he was a Gator we'd be singing his praises.

After hearing his story, hearing him speak, I got it. He's one of the most inspirational people I've ever heard. It doesn't make him a perfect coach, and he is what he is- a poor guy from Alabama, so he's not going to sound extremely polished, but I personally like the guy.
