And sometimes the ACC#3 versus the SEC#4 I don't know where you get the #5 and #6 stuff. Granted, it is not fair.

It also isn't fair that the SEC rents players but I'll save that for another thread.

It's a 2nd-tier bowl and the only one on last night. It has absolutely no relevance beyond that.

I guess if:

A. Your team has absolutely no shot at ever getting to the championship game.
B. Your conference has absolutely no shot at ever getting to the championship game

Then you might be able to convince yourself that the Peach Bowl has some degree of importance.

All college teams that give scholarships rent players.

But it's simple math. When the SEC has 2 teams in the BCS (which is every year), that means teams #1 and #2 go to the BCS....teams #3 and #4 go to the Citrus and Outback bowls. #5 goes to the Cotton. So, MOST years, the Peach gets the #6 SEC team. Just a simple fact.

And if Clemson is the ACC #3, I'll eat my hat :-)

I ignored your false claim the first time you made it because it didn't seem worth talking about. But now that you've made it again - you're wrong. Oh, I get it. You are chapped because I didn't come back to the thread. Okay, wow. You are right about one thing anyone can read my one and only post on that thread. Here it is:

NCST 14 (if they get the PAT)

NCST just housed a KO after Vandy had a long KO return set up a TD. Vandy looks good and focused. NCST doesn't have a coach but no excuses. This would be a nice win if Vandy holds on.

335 left in the first half.

Lets go Pack kick some SEC buttski.

There has to be a few (like 6 or 7) ACC football fans out there.

I didn't come back because I had already said what I wanted to say. Vandy "looks good and focused" and it would be a quality win for them if they hold on.

Yup.

USCe is another example. Two 11 win seasons now. Def a team that could win a NC soon.

Vandy could supplant Tenn and be a Stanford type program.

Don't think for one second that Clemson's win doesn't give them Mo for next year instead of losing 2 in a row to SEC teams and then having to recruit against SEC teams. Come on. Use some common sense there.

GT is light years behind UGA but beating USCw sure as heck doesn't hurt.

USCw was preseason #1 and still has a top rated recruiting class for 2013. I mean, come on, some people will bend over backwards to avoid giving an ACC team some credit.

USCw under achieved but vegas still had them as big favorites. They will be well represented in the NFL. A nice win for GT and helps them end the season on a positive note instead of being 6-8. You have to build on something. They have a dynamic young QB (Vade Lee) and obviously need an infusion of talent across the board to catch UGA.
