I've noticed some strange calls going against SEC teams this bowl season. Anyone notice the obviouse leg whip block by the Clemson running back on the game winning pass? The USC game has Big East officials....that was a very strange first down call...I think even the other officials were surprised or thought he just pointed the wrong way.

We had one against Georgia where our ball was touching the end of the stick and they said we were short.....a fourth down play that cost us posession.

Yeah, that was absolutely atrocious. Even Brady hoke was smiling. Good thing Clowney decided to take matters in his own hands. Man that was sick!

Yes that Ref needs to be looked at, horrible call. Play after will be a highlight for many years.

That has to be one of the worst calls I have seen. What did he see that no one else did?Another thing I noticed after that play was when Michigan had the ball on a 3rd and short and there was a pile that eventually pushed the ball over the 1st down marker. The refs on both sides of the ball were about a yard different from each other on the spot of the ball.

That hit is totally blowing up on twitter right now. Top 10 hit in CFB of all time IMO. both the hit itself and the influence on the game. Reminded me of Spikes hit on Moreno in 08 on first play of the game.

I'm pretty sure the LSU/Clemson refs were Big 10. Not sure on the USCe game.

I understand that calls get missed and made incorrectly during live action where everything is in full speed and bodies are flying around and the refs have to look at multiple things at once.

But how in the world do you miss a measurement?? In lieu of any other explanation, blatant cheating is the only thing I can come up with.
