a buddy of mine has a theory on this "speeding up of days." His thought is that it's all about perception through the prism of percentage.
when you are say 7 years old, you really haven't lived that many days (say 2500 or so) so basically every day is a decent sized percentage of your life. So it seems longer or more relevent.
When you are 65 you have lived so many more days. So those days, weeks, months, even a year is such a smaller percentage of your life that their relevance and thus your perception of them is less important or impactful.
kinda makes sense I guess. at 37 I feel like my days are passing by at a faster pace.
anyways, take it for what it's worth.....Happy New Year!

I have a theory.
When the Gators lose the Sugar Bowl, attention to Basketball is greatly increased.
Anyone want to disprove?

yep. When you consider time itself is nothing but a measurement relative to ones life span it makes even more sense.
