Need a new name for my fitness company pronto!
Suggestions welcomed. My sister is ready to re-engineer my website now. To prompt your thoughts, some of you have already gotten the gist of my approach. It's exceedingly simple, fad-free, standing in the face of food and fitness hysteria.
Unfortunately, Fad-Free Fitness is already taken.

Hehe, actually there are some who treat me as a revisionist. They particularly don't like the 'eat less' concept.

Simplifit
Everyday Fitness
Simple. Life. Fitness.
Life Changing Fitness
These are just a few that first came to my mind.
If you are having difficulty coming up with a name I suggest inviting a couple friends and family members out for a drink and presenting them with this challenge and then start letting names fly no matter how dumb or lame they may be. This works just about every time I try it.

All good suggestions. Of all the suggestions I've received, simplifit best describes how I work. I'm assuming that it is melding simplicity + fitness ... and as far as I can see, it's not already being used.
But will people know what it means when they hear it and see it ?

I'm partial to: Not Another Fitness Trainer as it seems an apt fit for how I work. I don't want to be a fitness trainer anymore. I'm going to allow my fitness certification to lapse.
When people read the name they're going to know that it's: (A) something about fitness and (B) either I'm not a fitness trainer or I'm somehow different, either works for me.
Plus, I'd love introducing myself as, "Hi, I'm Dale Dykes with Not Another Fitness Trainer, because LA doesn't need another fitness trainer.'

That's more or less what I had in mind. I was actually thinking of simplify fitness.
Will people know what it means when they hear it or see it? That's up to you and how you market your brand.

Simplifit works well.
A name like that is in vogue right now - making words out of other words' parts, mixing up the spelling, but having it turn out fluent when read the first time.
It could even be interpreted two ways by the reader - but only pronounced one way.
Buying the domain now.

Sounds like you are on your way to letting your potential customers know what you are about. Just keep your name in front of them.
Individuals looking for a fitness trainer will get Simplifit.
Don't stress so much about the name, just find something that works for you and run with it. Just remember to sell yourself and brand yourself as the king of simple fitness. You seem pretty excited about this new opportunity now just focus your excitement on getting your name out there.
You're going to be great at this man! You're selling a service not a name, just pick whatever name you like and roll with it. If you believe in your name and service others will believe too.

How about another version of that: Simp-Liv-Fit. Simple, live and fit mushed into one word. Put the little small "u" over the "i" for short sound...A lot of logo's these days are using hyphens and long or short vowel symbols too. I know...think of more after heavily drinking tonight...happy new year.
