And gorgeous in that glass. Love the color. Nice glass too, sort of a cross between a snifter and a tulip. Perfect for strong, aromatic beers.

Just picked up a six pack of Pyramid Outburst Imperial IPA. 8.5% ABV. Great value at $8.99. Not sure what assortment of hops, but must be close to 100 IBUs. Very piney, resiny taste. Looks nice in the glass. Orange/bronze, think, not much head and it settled down quickly. Very little lacing, but that could be because I just took the glass out of the dishwasher. I could have gotten a room temperature glass, but this is a pint glass I got at a fundraiser for my kids' high school, and their colors are orange and blue. Don't drink out of anything else at home these days.
Lots of great choices at Binny's tonight. Saw some really interesting new offerings, but the place was a mad house. I would have shopped longer and was willing to pay a lot more, but wasn't willing to stand in the lines a long time, and they were getting longer by the minute. It's also getting very cold out. Will be the coldest night of the year with subzero wind chills.
We're staying at home tonight. Wife picked up sushi while I was picking up beer. Got work to do, which sucks for New Year's eve, but it's good stuff. I'm involved in a startup and it looks like we've got some venture capital lined up. Our beta site has been up about a week and a half, but we're still tweaking (it's built in WordPress). Our CEO is single with no kids, so there's been little interruption in the emails, texts and even conference calls through the holiday "break." You can make me work on New Year's eve, but you can't stop me from drinking. I'm on the "Investor Relations" page now. If I'm still on it after my fourth beer, I'll be sure to give it a long look in the morning. It's okay to drink and write, but it's smart to give it another pass when you're sober.
Damn this beer is good. I wonder if six will be enough.

I received some as an extra in a trade a few weeks back.
Not bad stuff.

The best thing in great beer is the taste.
The next best thing is being able to take in the aroma of the hops and spices.

Just had another Pyramid Outburst. Was as good as last night, and once again, it didn't lace my glass at all. This time the glass was room temperature. What's that about? Beers this good and especially this thick always left beautiful Belgian lace.
